USAW Card

USA Wrestling Registration Instructions

Ba'ag Wrestling competes in USA Wrestling Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman sanctioned competitions.  If your child would like to compete with the team at any of our scheduled competitions, they will need to be registered through USA Wrestling, which among other benefits, will apply additional insurance coverage to your child in the rare event of an injury sustained during competition. There is a $40 fee to become a member of USA Wrestling.

To apply for USA Wrestling membership:

  • Go to www.usawmembership.com
  • Under the blue box with sign in information click to create an account.
  • Fill in the following personal information for the wrestler:
    • First name
    • Last name
    • Gender
    • Date of birth (important that it is accurate)
    • Mailing address
    • Your email address
    • Phone number
    • Password and confirmation
    • In wrestling style box select Freestyle.  You can also select Folkstyle, and Greco-Roman, as Ba'ag WC practices all three styles.
    • Get the magazine, it's included in your membership and will bring all the latest news in wrestling right to you!
  • Continue to the next page and you should receive a USAW ID # (WRITE IT DOWN).  You'll use this number to login to the membership system from now on.
  • Click on the “here” button to continue
  • The next page instructs you to “choose what you want to add to your shopping cart”
    • Click on the "Athlete” heading
  • The next page will be the wrestler’s profile
    • If the information is correct, click the “continue” button
  • Next is the “Additional Athlete Data” page
  • AZ-USA Wrestling has a new tier system for wrestling cards as of 8/2013. Click on the 'Arizona Full Athlete Membership' option
    • Fill in “Ba'ag Wrestling Club” in the get club box
    • Enter wrestler’s grade
    • Enter wrestler’s approximate weight, if you know it.
    • After reading the waiver provision, click the acknowledgment box on the left
    • Enter the parent/guardian information
    • Click “continue”
  • On the next page, click the “credit card” pay button
    • Note – if you don’t like using credit cards, especially online, let one of our coaches know and you can pay the club the $40 and we will register the wrestler.
  • On the next page
    • Note – the credit card information defaults to the wrestler, so check to see if the information is correct
    • Fill in the credit card information
  • Continue until you get the invoice
